Country music sensation Cody Johnson has announced the cancellation of his remaining 2025 concert dates due to a serious health issue. The singer revealed that he is suffering from a burst eardrum, a condition requiring immediate surgery and an extensive recovery period.

Johnson was scheduled to perform in several locations, including a performance at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on October 18. His final 2025 show was set for December 5 at TMobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Johnson explained the circumstances leading to the cancellations. While battling a severe upper respiratory and sinus infection, he experienced a rupture of his eardrum. “The severity of the rupture means I must undergo immediate surgery,” he wrote, emphasizing the necessity of the procedure for his recovery and future ability to perform.

Despite the setback, Johnson remains hopeful about his recovery. “It will take many weeks for me to heal following the medical procedure,” he shared, adding that singing during this period is not possible.
