
The University of Nebraska women’s basketball team showcased a dominant performance in an exhibition game against Mount Marty, winning 10440. The match took place at the Pinnacle Bank Arena on November 3.
Outstanding Performances from Huskers Against Lancers
Sophomores Amiah Hargrove and Britt Prince were standout players for the Huskers. Hargrove, a 6’2″ forward from Christopher, Illinois, scored a gamehigh 26 points and secured 10 rebounds. Prince contributed with 14 points and led the team in assists, also recording 10.
Senior guard Callin Hake matched Hargrove’s excellent performance with 22 points, hitting 6of8 from beyond the arc. The team’s collective performance included a remarkable 19 threepointers, the highest ever achieved by Nebraska in a home game.

Nebraska’s defense was equally impressive, limiting Mount Marty to just 28.3% shooting. The Lancers struggled from threepoint range, managing only 2of17 attempts.
In the first half alone, Nebraska built a commanding 5517 lead, thanks to a combination of effective shooting and strong defense. The Huskers forced 17 turnovers in the first half while dominating the boards 22 to 13.

Nebraska is set to begin its regular season against Northwestern State on Monday, November 3. The game will kick off at noon Central Time and will follow the annual Sizemore Sportsmanship Pep Rally, featuring over 80 participating schools and nearly 4,000 middle school students and adults.
