This scheme allows eligible individuals to access funds ranging from 10,000 to 450,000 pesos. The repayment terms vary from 6 to 36 months. The annual interest rates are set between 8.9% and 38.9%, depending on the borrower’s credit profile.

- The program is backed by a 10 million peso Guarantee Fund.
- This fund aims to expand financing opportunities for small and mediumsized enterprises.
- The initiative has been launched by the Secretary of Economic Development, Cindy Blanco Ochoa.
Digital Operation and Requirements
The “Bájale a tu deuda” program operates online, incorporating life insurance in its offerings. There are no penalties for early repayments. To qualify for the program, applicants must meet several criteria:
- Residence or business activity in Zapopan.
- Proof of repayment capacity.
- A minimum credit score of 650 from Buró de Crédito.
Involvement of Financial Institutions
The Promotora del Financiamiento para el Desarrollo de Jalisco (PROJAL) is active in assessing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Zapopan government manages the beneficiary registry through its platform, Adelante Zapopan.
