حصار قطاع غزة، جحيم غزة

أمد/ لا تكتفي إسرائيل بحصار قطاع غزة من خلال إغلاق جميع المعابر التجارية إضافة إلى معاير المسافرين، وقطع امدادات الكهرباء والمياه، ومنع دخول جميع المساعدات، بما فيها الوقود والغاز والأدوية والمهمات الطبية، حيث وصل مخزون الكثير منها في مخازن الصحة والمستشفيات إلى صفر، مخازن فارغة الا من الهواء وغبار القصف الجوي والبري.

يمتد الحصار الإسرائيلي ليشمل مختلف مناحي الحياة داخل القطاع المنكوب، حيث احتلت إسرائيل اكثر من 40% من اراضي القطاع، معظم هذه الأراضي في رفح وبيت حانون، وعلى طول حدود قطاع غزة الشرقية تمثل الجزء الاعظم من سلة قطاع غزة الغذائية، جميع الخضروات وبعض الفاكهة مصدرها هذه المناطق التي تم احتلالها مما خلق أزمة غذائية حادة بين سكان ونازحي قطاع غزة الذين لم يعودوا يجدوا هذه الخضار من طماطم وبطاطس وبصل وغيرها متوفرة في الاسواق. وفي حال توفرت فإنهم لا يستطيعون شرائها لعدم توفر النقود لديهم وارتفاع اسعارها أضعافا كثيرة مقارنة باسعارها قبل احتلال هذه الأراضي الزراعية.

لقد فاقم حصار قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي لبحر قطاع غزة ومنع الصيد فيه وإطلاق النار على الصيادين وتفجير مراكب الصيد وحرق شباك الصيد حرمان قطاع غزة من مصدر هام من الغذاء والبروتينات التي كان يعتمد عليها سكان القطاع من تغذيتهم على الأسماك.

كما دمرت الحرب والحصار صناعة الدواجن وإنتاج البيض في قطاع غزة من خلال تدمير آلاف حضائر الدواجن المنتشرة في قطاع غزة، مما حرم السكان خاصة الاطفال والنساء، من هذا المصدر الهام البروتينات.

لم تكتفي إسرائيل بتجويع اهل القطاع الذين يعانون من نقص شديد في توفر الدقيق والخبز بعد أن فرغت مخازن الانروا من اكياس الطحين التي كانت توزعها على السكان، وتوقفت المخابز عن إعداد الخبز، بعد ان توقف برنامج الغذاء العالمي عن تزويد مخابز قطاع غزة بالدقيق والسولار اللازم لتشغيل الافران، لم تكتفي إسرائيل بخلق أزمة قاسية في توفر الخبز، المادة الأساسية في غذاء اهل غزة، بل امتد حصارها إلى وقف إمداد مياه الشرب التي تشتريها السلطة الفلسطينية من شركة المياه الإسرائيلية، ماكروت، وتزود بها اعداد كبيرة من سكان قطاع غزة، الذي يعاني تاريخيا من نقص مياه الشرب الصالحة للاستخدام الادمي.

امتد الحصار الإسرائيلي ليفاقم أزمة مياه الشرب في قطاع غزة من خلال قطع إسرائيل لخط الكهرباء الواصل إلى محطة تحلية المياة الرئيسية في قطاع غزة التي تزود معظم السكان بمياه الشرب. هذا إضافة إلى تدمير عدد من محطات مياه التحلية، كان آخرها محطة تحلية المياه في حي التفاح التي تزود شرق ووسط مدينة غزة بمياه الشرب.

لقد قصفت ودمرت طائرات اسرائيل مئات آبار المياه في قطاع غزة، مما فاقم من أزمة العطش داخل القطاع، وحرم المزارعين من المياه لري اشجارهم ومزروعاتهم مما فاقم من أزمة الغذاء بين السكان في قطاع غزة.

لقد أدى قصف محطات تكرير مياه الصرف الصحي، وتدمير هذه الشبكة في مختلف مناطق قطاع غزة إلى طوفان من مياه الصرف الصحي العادمة ان تجري في الشوارع بين السكان وبين خيام النازحين.

هذا يهدد بأكبر كارثة بيئية وصحية، كما يهدد بانتشار الاوبئة بين السكان، خاصة بين الأطفال. وعودة ظهور كثير من الامراض الوبائية، ليس آخرها وباء شلل الاطفال.

هذه الامراض كانت فلسطين تفتخر انها من اول الدول في إقليم شرق المتوسط التي نجحت في القضاء والتخلص منها.

هذا ناهيك عن مصيبة والخطر البيئي والصحي الذي يسببه تراكم جثث الضحايا تحت ركام المنازل المهدمة، وتركها مرمية عارية في الشوارع لأيام طويلة عرضة لنهش الكلاب والطيور الجارحة والذباب، هذه الحيوانات والطيور والحشرات التي توحشت بسبب تغذيتها على دماء ولحوم الضحايا.

هذا إضافة إلى دفن الضحايا بسرعة في قبور عارية بسبب الخوف من القصف وزيادة عدد الضحايا وعدم المقدرة على نقلهم بالسرعة اللازمة للدفن في المقابر العامة.

لقد تحولت ثلاجات الموتى وغرف العمليات وغرف العناية المركزة وحدائق المستشفيات إلى بؤر لنقل الاوبئة بسبب برك الدماء والاشلاء المتناثرة وعدم النظافة والنقص الشديد في مواد التعقيم والنظافة.

لقد ألقت قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي أكثر من 100 الف طن من المتفجرات على قطاع غزة، مما أدى إلى تدمير الحياة وتلوث الهواء وهدم المباني والمنشئات ودفن الضحايا تحت الركام، في ظل نقص حاد في آلات رفع الانقاض، وعدم السماح بدخولها رغم الاتفاق على ذلك أكثر من مرة، اضافة نقص الوقود ونفاذه مما اعاق إنقاذ آلاف الجثث التي بقيت مدفونة تحت الركام.

أن ما تقوم به قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي من أحزمة نارية، وتفجير مربعات سكنية بواسطة الروبوتات، وصوت القصف الذي يزلزل الأرض ويصل إلى عشرات الكيلومترات، والغازات السامة والغبار الذي تنطلق منه، إضافة إلى استخدام الأسلحة المنضبة باليورانيوم وغير ذلك من أسلحة ومتفجرات، كل ذلك سيكون له تأثير صحي ونفسي خطير على صحة المجتمع والسكان حاليا وفي المستقبل.

أن انعدام المواصلات داخل قطاع غزة وارتفاع تكلفتها بسبب إنعدام وجود الوقود، وتدمير الطرق خلق أزمة في التنقل بين المناطق، كما جعل نقل ماهو متوفر من أغذية بين هذه المناطق صعبا للغاية، إضافة إلى تقطيع قطاع غزة بالمواقع العسكرية، وتجزأة القطاع إلى مناطق منفصلة ومعزولة عن بعضها، كما فعلت في منطقتي نتساريم وميراج، وكما هو متوقع ان تفعله في مناطق أخرى.

كل هذا زاد وفاقم من حدة الحصار الداخلي الذي فرضته إسرائيل على أهل قطاع غزة بقوة القصف المدفعي المتواصل لمناطق مختلفة في القطاع، والاستهدافات المتكررة للمدنيين والمباني والمنشئات، وسيطرة طائرات الكوادكابتر على الطرق ومنع حركة السكان، إضافة إلى اوامر الاخلاءات المتكررة والنزوح اليومي الذي تفرضه قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي على سكان مختلف المناطق في قطاع غزة حيث يعيش اغلبهم في الشوارع دون خيام أو اغطية أو مواد غذائية تصلهم لتحافظ على حياتهم بالحد الأدنى.

أن الحصار الإسرائيلي، الداخلي والخارجي، لقطاع غزة أثر على مختلف مناحي الحياة الصحية والاجتماعية، حيث بدأ كثير من الأطفال والنساء وكبار السن وحتى الشباب تظهر عليهم علامات التعب والإرهاق والضعف الجسدي والانيميا وضعف العضلات والاعصاب بسبب العيش الطويل على الأغذية المعلبة وما تحتويه من مواد كيماوية ضارة، إضافة إلى انعدام الخضروات والفواكه واللحوم والبيض والاسماك وغيرها من الأغذية الغنية بالبروتينات والفيتامينات والاملاح الضرورية لصحة الإنسان.

أن العالم ومؤسساته الصحية والإنسانية والقانونية مدعو للتدخل السريع لإنقاذ حياة 2.2 مليون مدني، لا علاقة لهم بالحرب وينشدون الحياة بسلام مع الجميع ويتعرضون لخطر الموت والجوع والابادة المتعمدة، إضافة إلى خطر التهجير القصري.

The Gaza Strip Blockade, The hell of Gaza

Israel is not content with blockading Gaza Strip by closing all commercial crossings, restricting travel, cutting off electricity and water supplies, and preventing the entry of all aid, including fuel, gas, medicine, and medical supplies. Many of these supplies have reached zero in health and hospital warehouses, empty except for the air and dust of aerial and ground bombardment.

The Israeli blockade extends to all aspects of life within the ravaged Strip. Israel has occupied more than 40% of the Strip’s land, Rafah and Beit Hanoun, and along the Eastern Gaza Strip border. These areas represent the bulk of the Gaza Strip’s food basket. All vegetables and some fruits originate from these devastated areas, creating a severe food crisis among Gaza’s residents and displaced people, who can no longer find these vegetables, including tomatoes, potatoes, onions, and others, available in the markets. Even if they are available, they cannot purchase them due to a lack of cash, and their prices are many times higher than before the occupation of these agricultural lands.

The Israeli military’s blockade of the Gaza Strip’s sea, prohibiting fishing, shooting at fishermen, bombing fishing boats, and burning fishing nets have exacerbated the deprivation of the Gaza Strip of an important source of food and protein, on which the population relied for their fish diet.

The war and blockade have also devastated the poultry and egg production industry in the Gaza Strip, destroying thousands of poultry farms throughout the Strip, depriving the population, especially children and women, of this important source of protein.

Israel not only starved the people of the Gaza Strip, who are suffering from a severe shortage of flour and bread after UNRWA warehouses ran out of flour bags which was distributed to the people. In addition, the bakeries stopped making bread after the World Food Program stopped supplying bakeries in the Gaza Strip with flour and diesel fuel needed to operate their ovens. Israel not only created a severe crisis in the availability of bread, the basic food for the people of Gaza, but its blockade extended to halting the supply of drinking water purchased by the Palestinian Authority from the Israeli water company, Mekorot. This water supply serves large numbers of Gaza residents, who have historically suffered from a shortage of potable water.

The Israeli blockade further exacerbated the drinking water crisis in the Gaza Strip by cutting off the electricity line to the main desalination plant in the Gaza Strip, which supplies most of the population with drinking water. This was in addition to destroying a number of desalination plants, the most recent of which was the desalination plant in the Tuffah neighborhood, which supplies drinking water to Eastern and central Gaza City.

Israeli aircraft have bombed and destroyed hundreds of water wells in the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the thirst crisis within the Strip and depriving farmers of water to irrigate their trees and crops, exacerbating the food crisis among the population.

The bombing of wastewater treatment plants and the destruction of this network in various areas of the Gaza Strip have led to a flood of sewage flowing into the streets among residents and between the tents of displaced people.

This threatens a major environmental and health disaster, as well as threatens the spread of epidemics among the population, especially among children, and the reemergence of many epidemic diseases, not least of which is the polio epidemic.

Palestine was proud to be one of the first countries in the Eastern Mediterranean Region successfully eradicated and eliminated these diseases.

This is not to mention the catastrophe and environmental and health hazard caused by the accumulation of victims’ bodies under the rubble of destroyed homes, leaving them lying naked in the streets for days, vulnerable to the bites of dogs, birds of prey, and flies. These animals, birds, and insects have become rabid by feeding on the blood and flesh of the victims.

This is in addition to the rapid burial of victims in bare graves due to fear of bombing, the increasing number of victims, and the inability to transport them quickly enough for burial in public cemeteries.

Morgues, operating rooms, intensive care units, and hospital gardens have become hotbeds of disease transmission due to pools of blood and scattered remains, poor sanitation, and a severe shortage of disinfectants and cleaning materials.

The Israeli military dropped more than 100,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip, destroying lives, polluting the air, demolishing buildings and facilities, and burying residents under the rubble. This is compounded by a severe shortage of rescue equipment, which has been denied entry despite repeated agreements. Fuel shortages and depletion have also hampered the rescue of thousands of bodies buried under the rubble. The Israeli military’s use of fire belts, robotic bombing of residential areas, the earthshattering, sound of the bombing reaching tens of kilometers away, the toxic gases and dust it releases, and the use of depleted uranium weapons and other weapons and explosives will all have a serious health and psychological impact on the community and its population, both now and in the future.

The lack of transportation within the Gaza Strip, its high cost due to the lack of fuel, and the destruction of roads have created a crisis in movement between areas. This has also made transporting available food between these areas extremely difficult. Furthermore, the Gaza Strip has been fragmented by military sites and divided into separate, isolated areas, as it did in the Netzarim and Mirage areas, and as it is expected to do in other areas.

All of this has exacerbated the internal blockade imposed by Israel on the people of the Gaza Strip, with its continuous artillery bombardment of various areas, repeated targeting of civilians, buildings, and facilities, the control of roads by quadcopters, and the prevention of movement of residents. This is in addition to the repeated evacuation orders and daily displacement imposed by the Israeli military on residents of various areas of the Gaza Strip, where most of them live in the streets without tents, blankets, or even the minimum amount of food supplies needed to sustain their lives.

The Israeli blockade, both internal and external, of the Gaza Strip has affected various aspects of health and social life. Many children, women, the elderly, and even young people have begun to show signs of fatigue, exhaustion, physical weakness, anemia, muscle and nerve weakness due to prolonged consumption of canned foods, which contain harmful chemicals. This is in addition to the lack of vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs, fish, and other foods rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals essential for human health.

The world and its health, humanitarian, and legal institutions are called upon to intervene quickly to save the lives of 2.2 million civilians who have nothing to do with the war and seek to live in peace with everyone else. They are exposed to the risk of death, starvation, deliberate genocide, and forced displacement.
